Kushmanda and Anhata Chakra

Image
Welcome to the series of Devi Navaratri and chakra activation. The fourth alankara that is done to Devi is Maa Kushmanda. Maa kushmanda is the creator of universe. The meaning of name is a small energy. She created this universe with the energy she has. When this universe was not created and when it was absolutely dark she created this universe with her smile. In fact it is said in puranas that she also gave energy and light to the sun. There is one intresting story about Maa kushmanda in fact she is different from other Durga avatars.   With her smile and energy she created Mahalakshmi, Mahasarswathi and Mahakali. Mahakali is born from the light that is formed from her left eye.   Maha Lakshmi is born from the third eye of kushmanda she was absolutely beautiful to look. Maha Sarswathi is born from the light of right eye.   She is worshipped on the fourth day of Navartri and it is strongly believed that she is the creator of this universe so she is called Adhisha...

Chandraganta and Manipura Chakra

Image
Welcome to the series of Devi Navaratri and chakras The third alankara that is done to the Devi is Maa Chandraganta. History of Maa Chandraganta: In the last two blogs we have seen how parvathi gets married to Shiva. As we all know that Shiva lives in burial ground and is not that much good looking because he keeps ashes, he wears tiger skin to mention clearly he had   ferocious look. Finally with the will and wish of parents parvathi gets married to Shiva here comes the interesting thing parvathi is daughter of Himavantha and Menaka so imagine how her troop will be during marriage where as Shiva is the person who lives in burial ground. So for the marriage he comes with munis, bhuta, pretha, and pischas. looking at these mother of parvathi Menaka fears a lot and faints. So parvathi in form of Maa Chandraganta appears in front of Shiva and requests Shiva to change his appearance and Shiva changes his appearance and looks like prince. So in the form of Chandraganta De...

Bramhacharini and Swadisthana chakra

Image
Welcome to the series of Devi Navaratri and chakra activation In this blog we will come to know how the second day of Navaratri is linked to the activation of second chakra activation in the body. History of Bramhacharini: The second alankara is Bramhacharini. As parvathi Devi wanted to marry Shiva she asks her parents. But they refuse. She will pray nearly 5000 years for him. But Shiva doesn’t want any other woman in his life. He felt that sati Devi is the only one who can be her life forever and ever and he never got thought of marrying other woman because he loves her that much. There is a small story of parvathi getting married to Shiva. There was a demon and his name was Tarakasur who got boon from lord Shiva that he should never killed by any others except the children of Lord Shiva. There is a logic behind it, Shiva don’t want to marry again so   that he don’t get children so the demon thought that he would never be destroyed and he can rule this world. This was like...

shailaputri and muladhara or root chakra

Image
Welcome to the series of Devi Navaratri and chakra activation This is the first blog and I am so happy to be released it on the first day of Navartri. The first decoration or alankara that is done is SHAILAPUTRI. History of Shailaputri: In her past birth she was daughter of DakshaPrajapathi Sati Devi who is wife of lord Shiva. She married Shiva against her father’s wishes. His father is not interested in getting her married to Shiva as he felt that it is not a right combination. Because he was a king and Shiva is the person who lives in burial ground applies ashes and etc which and how a normal father thinks when he wants her girl to get married. But against his will and wish she married Shiva. So he was angry with her and he almost decided to never talk with her. A grand Yagna is being performed in Daksha’s house. He invited rest of his daughters and all other relatives except SatiDevi. But Sati Devi went to Yagna her husband said many times not to go and refused to send her b...

Top 10 reasons why I became devote of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba 😇😇

Image
WHAT TO TELL ABOUT MY GOD????  My God is God for one who worships He is father for a child Teacher for a student Friend in need etc I have no words to describe him... I think normal people like me can't describe him because I am a girl who didn't take any kind of training how to write poems or how to describe greatest people. Look these usage of words like "greatest people" describing about Swami it self tells how poor I am to describe about swami... But clearly and confidently I can tell that the only qualification that I have to describe him is  " HIS LOVE TOWARDS ME" I always feel proud and happy to be his devote.. Top 10 reasons why I became devote of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.. The first reason is I am born in  Sri Sathya Sai devotee's family and this is quite common to follow the rules of family The second reason is I used to attend Balavikas classes regularly.. The third reason is Swami used to come in my dreams which really attracted...

H APPY BIRTHDAY SWAMI              Bhagwan baba was born on 23rd November in 1926 to smt.Eswaramma and Sri PedavenkamaRaju in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh... Swami had a elder brother two elder sisters and a younger brother... Baba's name is "Sathya Narayana Raju"..         The reason behind the name:                                                                A few seconds earlier to Swami's birth mother Eswaramma ate the prasadam of Sathya Narayana puja (Sathya Narayana puja  is a religious worship of the Hindu god  Satya means “truth” and narayana means,  Vishnu“The highest being” so Satyanarayan means “The highest being who is an embodiment of Truth”.  Vrat or ...
